The Hobie Adventure/Tandem Island Trampoline Set - 2015 are made from vinyl mesh and provide more space and storage on your Tandem or Adventure Island. These trampolines are sold as a set of 2 and install easily onto the front akas of your Island with no tools required. The rear part of the trampolines clip onto the rear akas with adjustable buckles. These trampolines fit 2015 and newer Tandem & Adventure Islands only, if you have 2014 or older model Adventure Island, look for Hobie part 79527001 or 79527011.

Great to have for your kayak

These trampolines are definitely a must have item if you are buying a Tandem Island. It turns the boat from a 2 person double into a boat that can fit perhaps up to 4 people. I put my two teenage sons on the side while my wife rides in the back. Its a pretty dry ride most of the time on the trampolines although you will have to tighten them up before you head out on the water. Tightening them while you are out on the water is impossible and I do not recommend it. The mesh itself is permeable so if the trampolines arent tightened enough or the passenger is too heavy, your butt will get wet. Its also pretty durable, I accidentally ran a knife against the mesh and it held tough. Pricey but good quality.

Great for sharing the fun

I am now the 'Grandpa of the Century' according to my grand kids who love going out with me on my adventure island kayak. They get a little bit wet sometimes but isn't that part of the fun?! The huskies love it too.
