Living in Texas between Houston and Austin, when I needed parts for my two Hobie kayaks I ordered them from the large, regional kayak dealer. After ten days and no response from them I called and they let me know it would be at least another week - maybe more. I cancelled my order and called Southwind. My parts were in my mailbox within three days. Seems like the big mega-dealer in Texas is interested in selling new boats and not servicing needed parts to previous customers.....
