"Buying Used Can Save You Lots" Below are some current deals on used kayaks and canoes we are selling. Some of these boats are a part of our lesson, tour and rental fleet. They are well-maintained and have been kept in good or excellent condition. Please stop by the store to browse or give us a call at 1-800-SOUTHWIND for more information.
Get Credit from Rentals Toward Boat Purchase: Up to $100 of rentals from the prior 30 days may be credited for each boat bought (one rental per day per boat sale priced at $400 or more).
No additional inbound freight charges apply (from factories to Southwind, as on some new kayaks)!
Condition of Boats: As we mentioned earlier, boats for sale are in good or excellent condition, for we keep boats protected and well-maintained. We encourage you to ask us questions regarding any of the pre-owned boats and feel free to stop by our Newport Rental Dock or Irvine Store to take a good inspection of a boat of interest. If you are unable to view the boats physically, you can also request for boat pictures (include the model you want to see and its color) by emailing us at info@southwindkayaks.com or calling us at the store (949-261-0200).
Shipping: Would you like us to ship your new or used kayak to you? Shipping costs for a plastic kayak can range between $75 - $250 (fiberglass and Kevlar kayaks a little more). Cost will vary depending on the size of the kayak and where it is being shipped to. Once you have selected a kayak and are ready to make your purchase we will call a couple of shipping companies to determine the actual cost for shipping. Picking your kayak up at a shipping terminal is always less expensive than having it delivered to your door. If you would like to arrange your own shipping, we are happy to wrap your kayak in bubble wrap and cheese cloth at no charge.
