Top FIVE finishers (plus the top lady or angler under the age of 18) from each of the four qualifying rounds will be eligible to move onto the final Championship Round.
25 participant max for each qualifying round
Only kayaks and canoes are permitted
Cash prizes available for top three finishers of each round (actual payout based on number of participants)!!!
Cost: $25 entry fee required for qualifying rounds (includes lunch)

Kayak OpenMay 23, 2009 7AM - Noon * SEE RESULTS *	Special Rules: Open registration. Any kayak powered by paddle, pedal, or trolling motors (less than 50 lb thrust) is permitted. No gas motors allowed.
O.C. Classic~~June 6~~ June 13, 2009 7AM - Noon * SEE RESULTS *	Special Rules: Participants must be residents of Orange County. Only paddle and pedal kayaks are permitted.
Paddles Only June 20, 2009 7AM - Noon	Qualifying Round Event Cancelled - Sign up for "Last Chance Day" on July 11th to compete in tournament.
Last Chance DayJuly 11, 2009 8AM - 1PM	Special Rules: Open Registration and same rules as "Kayak Open" qualifier. Anyone may participate in this round, even if they did not previously qualify for the Championship Round through their participation in one of the first three rounds.

Championship RoundJuly 25, 2009 8AM - 1PM

Notes: Free to top six finishers from four qualifying rounds.

This is a catch & release tournament, so only releasable fish will count toward individual totals
Winners of each round will be determined based on total weight of their five largest fish
Only artificial baits will be permitted in this tournament series (live, dead, or cut baits are not allowed)
Tournament hours vary to take advantage of the best tide (the first three events will run from 7AM to noon, and the last qualifier and championship event will take place from 8AM to 1PM). Participants will NOT be allowed to launch prior to the scheduled start times. Fish will be weighed in (or be in line to be weighed in) by the end time.
Each round's fishing boundaries will be announced the morning of the event!
Violation of the mentioned rules will result in immediate disqualification from rounds and forfeiture of any awarded prizes. Also, no refund will be given for the entry fee.
