Scheduled Sequence of Events for Kayak Extravaganza 2008
Many of you are familiar with "Expo," the big event we have held for years on the first weekend in June; well, we've added so many new vendors and activities that we couldn't fit such an event into a single weekend!
So, what was formerly known as Expo has evolved into a series of events that form a true "Kayak Extravaganza."

at Newport Rental Location (map/directions) This event will focus on canoes and kayaks from Confluence Watersport, these include Wilderness Systems, Perception, Mad River, Dagger and Wave Sports. With everything from whitewater to sit-on-tops, recreational to open water sea kayaks, if you're not sure what type of boat is right for you, this is the event you'll want to attend. We'll start letting boats out at 9 AM and call them all in at 5 PM. Boats other than Confluence boats will be available on request with an advance notice. There is no charge for this activity. | May 31st & June 1st - Special Manufacturer's Demo Days |

at Newport Rental Location (map/directions) Reservations are requested, (but not required), for this special demo weekend. This is your chance to try out your favorite Current Designs, SEDA, or Feathercraft kayaks as we take groups of 10 to twenty out for a two hour cruse in Newport's Back Bay. But looking at the local scenery will be the last thing we will have on our minds. On this activity will be out to show off the highly specialized characteristics of these beautifully designed kayaks. Call us early to lock in your boat choices and a time slot. Sessions will start at 9:00 AM, 12 PM, and 3 PM. There will be a $25 charge of this activity (which can be applied to the purchase of a new kayak). Will be on:

| June 7th & June 8th - Special Manufacturer's Demo Days |

at Newport Rental Location (map/directions) This event will focus on canoes and kayaks from Hobie and Native Watercraft. Featuring a variety of recreation kayaks, both sit-in as well as sit-on-tops, this event will showcase the pedal kayaks. Both manufacturers will be showing off their pedal drive systems. We'll start letting boats out at 9 AM and call them all in at 5 PM. Boats other than Hobie or Native Watercraft will be available on request with an advance notice.
